What will you be doing:
A Project Analyst (PA) has the responsibility for supporting the implementation of software products. Within a project setting, the PA pays a supporting role to a Consultant, while developing a foundation-level skill set in project management and software implementation. Typical duties include product configuration, testing, training, and documentation. This is the first opportunity to gain practical awareness of our implementation methodology.
Competencies for a PA will vary in mix and balance based on the opportunities presented by each project. Some of the duties will be carried out independently while others will require guidance and review by more senior team members.
- Maintains high level of utilization by executing software implementation tasks according to project timeline; creates project management artifacts as needed or as directed by Consultant
- Configures product according to client needs and Consultant direction
- Executes test scripts and documents test results
- Develops process documentation - including exceptions and workarounds - to support the solution
- Leads or participates in status calls with client
- Completes QA activity
- Conducts internal staff and external client training
- Provides support in the task order process by gathering client requirements and obtaining estimates as needed
- Provides additional helpdesk support as needed
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree desired and one year of related experience preferred; association industry experience desirable
- Strong time and task management, detail orientation and ability to work under pressure
- Effective oral and written communication to internal and external audiences; training experience helpful
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to travel to and provide consistent presence at customer sites as needed; travel of up to 25% may be required
