What will you be doing:
This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. The person in this role builds and maintains a sales pipeline by conducting sales calls, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, generating proposals, and tracking leads using the CRM system.
- Manage the sales process for an assigned territory from introduction to delivery
- Obtain new accounts to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota
- Meet and exceed all activity goals and business measurements including sales calls, pipelining, win rate, average deal size, etc.
- Generate leads through cold calling, seminar presentations, meetings, trade shows and other lead generating activities
- Identify key account decision makers to sell company products using creative and custom solutions
- Demonstrate follow-through with all aspects of the CTT sales process; provide regular reporting updates to direct manager
- Regularly update new and current customer information in CRM system
- Proactively build and maintain in-depth knowledge of CTT products and services, industry trends and competition
- Have a clear understanding of legal and privacy requirements, and facilitate the negotiation of successful contracts
- Work with channel partners to enhance sell though of products
- Complete all required activities such as forecast reports, expense reports and weekly status reports on time
- Provides market intelligence to the product management team regarding industry trends, new feature suggestions, etc.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business or sales management
- 3-5 years of B2B outside sales experience
- 2+ years of selling software or complex solutions
- Experience managing extended sales cycles
- Proven, consistent track record of exceeding financial objectives
- Experience using a sales force automation solution such as salesforce.com or similar
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong passion, high energy and enthusiasm for growth
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently
