Peter W. Farner
Pete equips Brill Street with both financial and management expertise. He is a General Partner in TGap Ventures and has over 20 years experience in launching and nurturing successful new ventures. Previously he served in multiple executive positions, including CEO, in the technology, software, services and beverage industries — the later including participation in growing Stroh's Brewery from $150 to $1.3 billion in sales.
Linda Hall Keller, Ph.D.
Linda brings to the Brill Street Board her track record in growing successful companies within the healthcare arena. Following her role as President in leading Ceridian Performance Partners to exponential growth, Linda served as CEO of MinuteClinic, where she led the company from $.6 million to $20 million in revenue in a four-year period, and spearheaded its acquisition by CVS/Pharmacy in 2006. Most recently, she was CEO of Accurate Home Care, an innovative home healthcare company serving pediatric patients.
Nancy Lerner
Nancy, a Brill Street founder, brings to the Board energy, creativity and unparalleled strategic vision. In addition to her active voice in the Brill Street brand and business, Nancy is a founder and Chief Strategist at Otherwise Incorporated, a Chicago-based integrated branding and marketing agency where creativity, strategic thinking, visual design and technology merge. As a successful entrepreneur and business leader, Nancy also sits on the advisory boards of several growing businesses, including School Town, Sentiam and Kingsman Capital.
Edward Lou
Eddie draws on multi-faceted expertise in his role as a Brill Street director. He is currently a Principal in the venture capital firm OCA Ventures, which has a successful track record partnering with proven entrepreneurs to build market leaders. Previously he was CEO and founder of PlanetHVAC; the manager of a $100 million equity derivatives portfolio; and an executive with Emerson Electric and White-Rodgers.
Laura Pearl
Laura brings extensive board experience to Brill Street, having served as a director for a number of companies, including Levy Restaurants, Platinum Entertainment, Homex Healthcare and others. She is Managing Director of Ceres Venture Fund, which is dedicated to funding high-growth companies in the Midwest, and was previously a partner at the Frontenac Company, where she participated in raising over $1 billion in venture capital.
Daniel Weinfurter
Dan's background as a successful entrepreneur in the realm of human capital brings the Board critical insight into organizational effectiveness and talent management. He is the CEO of Capital H Group, a leading-edge strategic human capital consultancy. Previously, he was founder and CEO of Parson Consulting, a global financial management consultancy. His areas of expertise include corporate finance, strategic planning, and sales and marketing management.
